BITUSTIK®

BITUSTIK is a self-adhering waterproofing membrane made of distilled bitumen modified with SBS (styrene-butadiene-styrene) polymers, with an adhesive coating on the lower face and a self- protecting upper PE/Sand surface. The carrier is a composite polyester stabilised with longitudinal glass yarns that combines superior dimensional stability with good tensile strength, elongation values and excellent mechanical properties in general.

Available surface finishes
- Upper surface: Sand (Autotak 2.0 mm) or plastic PE film (Autotak 1.5 mm)
- Lower surface: silicone release film.

Product Detail

BITUSTIK is recommended as underlayer in multilayer systems or as waterproofing layer below roof tiles or on pitched roofs in general where the use of a free flame is not permitted or advisable, thus preventing the use a torch applied waterproofing membrane (i.e.: over wooden decks or fire sensitive insulation layers, etc.).

BITUSTIK is fast and safe to apply and is a time saving product.
